Tang Fish are the hot favorite for marine aquarium start from small fish 1- 2 inches and then continue grow up to 8 inches in the sea , as they grow from Juvenile to adult , it is an excellent addition to any saltwater aquarium because of it’s tasty love of filamentous algae and diatoms that grow on the glass, decoration, and rock. The Tang fish are moderately difficult  and suggested for an intermediate marine aquarist. Tang fish is of the Acanthurus  family , swimming in big group of hundred and grazing entirely on algae and plant in the sea keeping the reef clean and colorful . Aquarium must be very clean and free from detritus otherwise it will be susceptible to white spot oodinium disease . If infected with white spot you can isolated in quarantine tank and treat with  REEFMAX parasite cure or feed with long Life pellet daily to help it strengthen its immunity to help it overcome the disease . Aquarium improvement of cleanliness must be done .

Our Tang fishes offered have undergo conditioning and trained to feed on our  prepared Frozen seafood and pellet.
The prepared food they eat will provide all their nutritional requirements for long term survival , dont forget to buy as Add -On !
The water parameters need to be constant. You should check water conditions often, as the quicker a change is detected, the easier it will be to put right again.
Water changes of at least 25% should be done  every 2 weeks, and even more for smaller aquariums.
Excess food should be removed to prevent algae growth and nitrite/nitrate sickness. Visible algae on glass  can be cleaned using a suitable magnet cleaner.

Food and Diet:  Tang fish are omnivores. In the wild it feeds primarily on algae, but it will also ingest tiny animals living in the algae. In captivity their diet will be mostly pellet, but also offer some fresh seafood proteins. Feeding them a variety of good foods is important. Offer various types of fresh and dried marine algae, spirulina enriched foods & mysis shrimp, flakes or pellets designed for marine fishes like Reefmax Pellet 0.5 , Long Life pellet and Soft Fresh seafood .
